solution A. TUMESCENT LIPOSUCTION 2-4 liter infiltration.

          SAFE DOSE: up tp 35 mg/kg lidocaine. e.g. for 60 kg patient max dose 2.1 gm lidocaine

          PEAK CONCENTRATION: 12 hours

Contains Lidocaine...........500 mg/liter ...........@ concentration 0.05 %

Contains Epinephrine ..........1 mg/liter............@ 1:1,000,000

          Mix:    ➤ 1 liter .......Lactated ringers

➤ 50 cc .......Lidocaine 1 % plain

➤ 1 cc .........Epinephrine 1:1,000

 

solution A(–) minus. TUMESCENT LIPOSUCTION: Same as “A” without lidocaine, only epi

 

solution C. FACELIFT/BREAST SOLUTION: 200 cc injection

Contains Lidocaine...........1,000mg/200cc.......@ final concentration 0.5%

Contains Marcaine...............250mg/200cc.......@ final concentration 0.125%

Contains Epinephrine ............1.5mg/200cc.......@ final concentration 1:300,000

          Mix:    ➤ 50 cc ....... 2% Lidocaine with epi 1:100,000

➤ 50 cc ....... 0.5% Marcaine with epi 1:200,000

➤ 100 cc ..... Saline injectable

          Gives: 200 cc ..... Total volume

 

solution E-1. EYELIDS - when doing just upper blepharoplasty, buffered 1:10 mixture

          Mix:    ➤ 20 cc........1% lidocaine w/ epi

➤ 2 cc..........HCO3 8.4%

 

solution E-2. EYELIDS - when doing upper and lower blepharoplasty. Not buffered. 1:1 mixture

          Mix:    ➤ 20 cc........1% lidocaine w/ epi 1:100,000

➤ 20 cc........0.5 % marcaine w/epi 1:200,000

 

solution F. INITIAL FACE BUFFERED, buffered 1:10 mixture

          Mix:    ➤ 100 cc .....0.5% Lidocaine with epi 1:200,000

➤ 10 cc .......NaBicarb 8.4%

 

solution P. PEDS For pediatric cleft lip and palate, 1:1 mixture

          Mix:    ➤ 20 cc........0.5% ropivacaine (Noropin) plain

➤ 20 cc........1% lidocaine w/ epi 1:100,000
